England manager Roy Hodgson has revealed that his squad selection for the World Cup will not be affected by the late-season form of any players.
The 66-year-old is due to name his 23-man party on May 13 ahead of the final deadline at the start of June.
However, Hogson has hinted that he already knows the players that he will take with him to Brazil this summer.
"Nothing that happens in the last four games, in terms of form, is going to affect me," he told FIFA.com.
"I don't judge players on their last-minute form over two or three games. I'm judging them over two years. Or, in particular, if anyone new on the scene has emerged I'm judging him over several months."
England's next fixture is a warm-up match against Peru at Wembley Stadium on May 30.
