Jamie Redknapp has said that he is worried by Kyle Walker's performances for England.
The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has claimed that the defender's positional sense needs work, and he claimed that Liverpool's Glen Johnson is a "safer bet" for the right-back berth at next summer's World Cup.
"Kyle Walker worries me, I lost count of how many times the ball was played inside him because he doesn't cover," Redknapp told the Daily Mail.
"He goes flying forward, but seems often to make the wrong choices and gets regularly caught out of position.
"Glen Johnson is a safer bet. You need to be more than an athlete."
Walker started Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat to Germany.
