England midfielder Frank Lampard has expressed his pride at being named captain for tomorrow's international friendly against Ecuador.
Manager Roy Hodgson revealed earlier today that the veteran midfielder would wear the armband for England's penultimate warm-up match before the World Cup gets underway.
The 35-year-old revealed that he was excited about the match, which will see him win his 104th cap for the Three Lions.
"I'm proud to be captain tomorrow and looking forward to the game," Lampard told reporters.
England will face Honduras on Saturday in their final match before getting their World Cup campaign underway against Italy on June 14.
