England boss Gareth Southgate has suggested that midfielder Dele Alli remains a big doubt for Sunday's World Cup meeting with Panama.
During the first half of the Three Lions' opener with Tunisia, Alli sustained a thigh problem and although the Tottenham Hotspur playmaker continued until the closing stages of the game, a scan revealed a minor injury.
Alli has started to resume running on the training ground but at a press conference, Southgate told reporters that the 22-year-old only has "a slim chance" of retaining his place in the team.
Should Alli miss out, Southgate is likely to call upon Ruben Loftus-Cheek, with the Chelsea academy graduate impressing during his cameo role on Monday night.
Victory for England in Nizhny Novgorod could be enough to secure a place in the last 16 of the competition.
