England manager Roy Hodgson has reportedly handed Tottenham Hotspur's Andros Townsend a starting spot in tonight's World Cup qualifier against Montenegro.
The 22-year-old is said to be on the teamsheet ahead of this evening's clash at Wembley, as the Three Lions try to claim maximum points from their final qualifiers against Montenegro and Poland.
It is understood that Townsend has been placed on the right side of midfield, with Manchester United's Danny Welbeck on the opposite flank, according to the Daily Mail.
Captain Steven Gerrard is expected to be playing alongside Frank Lampard this evening as opposed to Jack Wilshere or Michael Carrick, while Tom Cleverley has been ruled out with a calf injury.
