Everton midfielder Steven Naismith has lauded his team's work ethic in their 3-0 Europa League Group H win against Lille on Thursday evening.
First-half goals from Leon Osman and Phil Jagielka at Goodison Park gave the Ligue 1 outfit a mountain to climb, before Naismith killed off the clash with a third later on.
Naismith told reporters after the game: "One of our biggest assets is that everyone works hard for each other and when we lose the ball we work hard to get it get it back. That was very evident in the first half and I think that was where we won the game."
The result maintains Everton's placing at the top of Group H, with eight points.
