Everton midfielder Leon Osman has admitted that his manager David Moyes deserves to win a trophy with the club.
Moyes has been in charge at Goodison Park since March 2002, but the Toffees have yet to taste success in any competition during his stewardship.
Speaking after Everton advanced through to round four of the FA Cup with a 5-1 win over Cheltenham Town last night, Osman told Sports Mole that it is up to everybody connected with the club to ensure that Moyes's trophy duck is broken.
"He's been a fantastic servant to the club and if he was to leave I'd be disappointed. But, you don't always get what you deserve. You don't just get to win a trophy because you've done well and you deserve it," he said.
"It's up to us as a group of players, management and staff to turn what is deserved into actually happening."
Everton last won a major trophy back in 1995 when they defeated Manchester United in the FA Cup final.
