Everton defender Seamus Coleman has outlined his ambition to win the League Cup this season.
The Toffees have not won a domestic trophy since lifting the FA Cup in 1995, and Coleman believes that it is time for him and his teammates to win the club silverware.
When asked if there was great desire to succeed in the League Cup this season, Coleman told the club's official website. "There definitely is. I think every year since I've been here I've spoken about how much I want to win a trophy with Everton.
"It can be tricky. The Capital One Cup always throws up difficult ties and I think you're always hoping for a home draw, but it's a tough draw away to a League One team, who will be really up for it.
"We have to go and do a professional job, and hopefully we can come out of there with a win."
Everton travel to face Barnsley in their second-round match on Wednesday.
