Relive Sports Mole's live coverage of the second half of Everton's match against Newcastle United at Goodison Park.

Everton claimed a 3-0 win over 10-man Newcastle United to keep themselves six points clear of the relegation zone in the Premier League.

James McCarthy scored in the first half before Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley added to the lead in the second half.

Newcastle played most of the second half without their captain after Fabricio Coloccini was sent off for a foul on Aaron Lennon.

Read how all the action unfolded below.

Good afternoon. Firstly, apologies for the late start, technical issues stopped us bringing you live coverage of the first half, but we're ready to bring you full coverage of the second half from Goodison Park.
Why not catch up on the first 45 minutes with our half-time report, and see how Everton took a 1-0 lead.
RESTART! The action gets back underway at Goodison Park.
Ayoze Perez has come on for the visitors at half time and the young Spaniard is looking sharp, quickly forcing a free kick just outside the box after linking up with Coloccini down the left flank.
CHANCE! Ryan Taylor tries to curl the ball in from just outside the penalty area, and it's not a bad effort, but it doesn't quite dip enough to squeeze into the top corner. Had it been on target, it looked like Tim Howard would have had it covered though.
Everton quickly get on the attack down the other end as they look for a second. Romelu Lukaku has it on the right before attempting to pick out the run of Aaron Lennon, but the strikers are still working on their timing, and the Belgian's delivery ends up going behind to on-loan Spurs man.
Lennon is involved again as the hosts continue to look to more likely, but he catches Taylor, giving away a free kick. In fact, it's getting rather physical all around as Coloccini and Kone clash too.
PENALTY TO EVERTON!
Yoan Gouffran gets his arm around Lennon's shoulder and drags him down the give away the post kick.
GOAL! Everton 2-0 Newcastle United (Romelu Lukaku PEN.)
Romelu Lukaku steps up to take the penalty, and he makes no mistake, calmly rolling it into the bottom right corner to squeeze it under the diving Tim Krul.
SUB! John Carver responds, making a change by sending Remy Cabella on in place of Sammy Ameobi.
RED CARD! It gets worse for Newcastle as captain Fabricio Coloccini is given his marching orders for a late and reckless challenge on Lennon.
That had been a promising attacking move from Everton, with Kone, Lukaku and Lennon all linking up superbly before the latter was hacked down. It really was a nasty foul from the Newcastle captain, but Lennon seems to be alright. Lukaku goes for goal from the resulting free kick, but it's an easy take for Krul.
SUB! Jonas Gutierrez is on in place of Emmanuel Riviere, and he's given a standing ovation by the Everton fans.
Eveton are in complete control now as Kone and McCarthy pass the ball around the midfield with ease, but an attempt to find Lukaku goes astray.
CHANCE! Newcastle haven't given up hope as Gutierrez plays a through-ball for Ayoze Perez, but the pass has just a little too much on it, and the striker can't get to it before Howard rushes out to claim it.
Gouffran needs to be careful. As well as conceding the penalty that allowed Everton to double their lead, he's just brought Lukaku down in the centre, earning him a talking to from the referee.
CHANCE! Leighton Baines works hard down the left before rounding a couple of defending and squaring it to Arouna Kone on the edge of the box. The striker hits is sweetly first time, but Krul just gets his fingertips too it to keep it out.
Everton are desperate to add a third as Kone and Lennon link up on the edge of the box, but Newcastle have numbers back and do just enough to stop them setting something up. It feels like a third is imminent though.
SUB! Romelu Lukaku's afternoon is done as Ross Barkley gets a run out.
CHANCES! Leon Osman gets forward and carves himself some space on the edge of the box, but his shot is blocked, while Barkley gets back in moments later, but can't get the better of Krul.
Newcastle make a rare run towards the Everton goal as Jack Colback shows his pace down the left flank, but there's no-one open up the box for him to cross it in to.
CHANCE! Tim Howard hasn't had much to do this afternoon, but he has to remain sharp as Moussa Sissoko makes a dynamic move on the edge of the box before trying to curl the ball into the top corner, but the American keeps it out.
BOOKING! Aaron Lennon is the first Everton player to be shown the yellow card as he goes in late on Cabella, giving Newcastle a free kick in a promising position.
Newcastle are certainly finishing strongly as Howard is left scrambling while trying to clear the resulting free kick. The visitors quickly force another set piece, which Taylor floats it, but Howard is ready this time and runs out to claim it.
CHANCE! If Newcastle had played like this all afternoon it would have surely been a different scoreline as Perez charges into the box, but Alcaraz gets to it first and forces it behind for a corner.
CHANCE! Everton manage to get out of their own half for the first time in a few minutes, but Lennon's powerful strike is parried by Krul, before the rebound from outside the box goes just wide.
SUB! Aaron Lennon has been a busy boy this afternoon, but his work is done as Christian Atsu gets a run out for the final few minutes.
SUB! The hosts make their final change as James McCarthy is replace by Mohamed Besic for the final spell.
CHANCE! Kone has too much pace for Williamson as he collects a pass forward from Baines, but Krul comes out to force the striker out wide.
There are three minutes of stoppage time to be played, and after a bright spell from Newcastle a few minutes ago it's all Everton again as they push for a third late on.
Christian Atsu's pace and footwork is stunning as he rounds Colback before charging in to keep the ball in play, but his cut back for Kone was blocked by Krul.
GOAL! Everton 3-0 Newcastle United (Ross Barkley)
Atsu frustrates Colback again as he skips past the Newcaslte man before playing the ball in for Barkley, who waits for Krul to commit before sliding it into the bottom corner. It's a fantastic finish to the match for the hosts.
FULL TIME: Everton 3-0 Newcastle United
So a dominant second-half display hands Everton a much-needed win over Newcastle United, with Romelu Lukaku and a late striker from Ross Barkley adding to James McCarthy's first-half goal.
The result keeps Everton 14th in the table, but leaves them six points clear of the relegation zone. Newcastle remain 11th, but there's a glut of teams, including Everton, just a few points back.
Well that's it from me this evening, but stick around for reaction to this match and all of this afternoon's Premier League fixtures. Thanks for joining me today. Goodbye.
