Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye has vowed to help the Toffees "fight for Europe" during the 2018-19 season.
The Merseyside outfit, who are currently searching for a new manager following the departure of Sam Allardyce, ended last season in eighth position in the Premier League table.
Gueye, however, has insisted that his team are good enough to secure a European position next term.
"I want to help the club fight for Europe next season," Gueye told Fox Sports Radio. "This club has been great to me since I have arrived. We have so much quality in the team.
"Yes, last season was difficult, but we are very capable of again playing in Europe."
Gueye, who scored three times in 38 appearances for Everton during the 2017-18 season, will represent Senegal at this summer's World Cup in Russia.
