Everton defender Phil Jagielka has admitted that he was pleased to see his side get back on track as they defeated Aston Villa 3-0 in their Premier League clash.
The Toffees had gone three matches without a win in the top flight and had dropped to 17th in the table, but they secured a vital three points courtesy of strikes from Romelu Lukaku, Seamus Coleman and Jagielka himself.
He told the club's official website: "It was also nice to put on a good show today, score a few goals, keep a clean sheet and get back to the sort of standards that we expect of ourselves. And it was nice to hear the fans singing at the end too.
"Hopefully our confidence can come back now and we can climb the table."
Roberto Martinez's side are now 13th in the Premier League following their victory at Goodison Park.
