Heerenveen striker Bas Dost is reportedly delaying a move away from the Dutch club as he awaits an offer from the Premier League.
The highly-rated forward has attracted attention from a number of European teams following a 32-goal season in the Eredivisie.
Serie A trio Bologna, Fiorentina and Genoa have all registered their interest in the 23-year-old along with German outfit Wolfsburg.
The player's agent Carmine Coviello has claimed that his client snubbed a move to Aston Villa in January but has expressed Dost's preference for a move to England.
"Many clubs like Dost. There is a lot of appreciation for the boy but it is too early to mention names," said Coviello.
"Heerenveen are asking for €10-12m for him. His price has increased after a sensation season in the Eredivisie.
"He is wanted in the English market, having recently said no to Aston Villa. There are also requests in Germany, but Dost is waiting for an important offer from Italy or England."
Everton, Newcastle United and West Ham United are all thought to be admirers of the Dutchman.
