Everton are reportedly considering an ambitious move for Roma forward Edin Dzeko.
The Toffees have brought in Sandro Ramirez and Wayne Rooney to boost their forward options next season, but it is understood that head coach Ronald Koeman still wants a striker to replace Romelu Lukaku, who has joined Manchester United.
Crystal Palace's Christian Benteke has recently been linked with a move to Goodison Park, but according to Calciomercato, Koeman is desperate to land former Manchester City forward Dzeko.
The 31-year-old scored 39 times in 51 appearances for Roma during the 2016-17 season, and has managed 49 goals in 90 appearances for the Italian giants since joining from Man City in the summer of 2015.
Dzeko, meanwhile, netted 50 Premier League goals for Man City between 2011 and 2015.
