Everton have reportedly identified Atalanta BC midfielder Josip Ilicic as a summer target.
After a spending spree ahead of this season, Everton had high hopes of securing a place in the top six, but a poor start to the campaign and a change in manager has led to the Toffees looking to claim a spot in the top half of the standings.
Sam Allardyce is expected to be busy during the next transfer window and according to Calciomercato, an approach will be made for Ilicic.
Since 2010, the playmaker has established himself as a well-respected player in Serie A with 56 goals being scored for Palermo, Fiorentina and Atalanta.
Ilicic still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his deal with Atalanta, having only signed for the club last summer.
