Ipswich Town have strengthened their squad with the loan acquisition of Everton defender Matthew Pennington.
The Tractor Boys have endured a disappointing start to the Championship, with just two points being recorded from five fixtures.
The club's form has resulted in manager Paul Hurst having to enter the transfer market for a new defender, and Pennington has now arrived from the Toffees.
The 23-year-old has made nine first-team outings for the Premier League side, while 24 outings were made for Leeds United at the second tier last season.
Pennington is available to feature in Sunday's East Anglia derby against Norwich City.
