Everton captain Phil Neville will reportedly begin discussions with the club next month over extending his contract.
The 36-year-old, who is believed to feel confident that he can play for another two or three years, is thought to be keen on remaining at Goodison Park.
Toffees boss David Moyes is open to offering the ex-Manchester United player a fresh 12-month deal but Neville has put off talks until March, according to the Liverpool Daily Post.
Neville, who comes to the end of his contract in the summer, could make his 300th Everton appearance against his former club this Sunday.
