Benjamin Moukandjo 86th-minute goal has helped Reims move four points clear of the Ligue 1 relegation zone as they edged a five-goal thriller with fellow strugglers Evian TG.
It was Stade who took the lead five minutes before the interval when ex-Liverpool forward David N'Gog netted for the visitors.
Evian hit back in the third minute of first-half injury time when Gilles Sunu's well-struck free kick found the top corner of Kossi Agassa's net.
Three minutes after the restart, the home side were ahead after Olivier Sorlin played in Mathieu Duhamel, who rifled the ball home as Reims briefly dropped into the relegation places.
However, Ngog scored his second goal of the evening with a low drive that Benjamin Leroy was unable to keep out.
Reims completed the comeback when N'Gog turned provider for Moukandjo, who sealed a 3-2 win for the visitors.
