There were several FA Cup third-round shocks across a busy schedule of sport.

The sporting weekend was dominated by the third round of the FA Cup, which saw the likes of Gillingham, Barnet, Oldham and Newport pull off shock wins.

Premier League clubs Cardiff, Fulham, Huddersfield and Leicester were all eliminated by lower-division opposition, while there was a dramatic Gallagher Premiership encounter between Exeter and Bristol at Sandy Park.
