Good evening! As it's almost the end of an action-packed third round in the
FA Cup, it's nearly time for the teams still in the competition to find out who they face next time out.
There weren't too many shocks in the third round, with the remaining non-league sides being eliminated, including Blyth Spartans, who held a 2-0 lead over Birmingham City before slipping to a defeat. Arsenal, Chelsea, and the two Manchester clubs are both through, with Liverpool and Tottenham able to join them this evening.
Former AFC Wimbledon player Lawrie Sanchez will be drawing the balls out of the pot tonight, along with the coach of the Kingstonian's under-18s ladies side.
Here we go then....
Southampton or Ipswich vs. Crystal Palace
Cambridge United vs. Manchester United
Blackburn Rovers vs. Swansea City
Chelsea vs. Millwall or Bradford City
Derby County vs. Scunthorpe or Chesterfield
Preston North End vs. Sheffield United
Birmingham City vs. West Brom
Aston Villa vs. AFC Bournemouth
Cardiff City vs. Reading
AFC Wimbledon or Liverpool vs. Bolton
Burnley or Tottenham vs. Leicester City
Brighton vs. Arsenal
Rochdale vs. Stoke City
Sunderland vs. Fulham or Wolverhampton Wanderers
Doncaster or Bristol City vs. Everton or West Ham United
Manchester City vs. Middlesbrough
So that's all 16 ties draw for the fourth round, and there are some exciting looking matchups in there. Cambridge United will be delighted to have drawn Manchester United, while Millwall will have the incentive or a tie against Chelsea when they take part in their replay against Bradford.
There's also a Midlands derby to look forward to, with Birmingham City drawing local rivals West Bromwich Albion. There will also be at least one League One side making it into the fifth round, with Preston facing Sheffield United.
That's all from the draw, but stick around as our
live coverage of the tie between AFC Wimbledon and Liverpool is already underway, with kickoff just 10 minutes away. Thanks for joining me this evening, goodbye.
