The 13th instalment of Soccer Aid, the world's biggest charity football match, takes place this weekend when celebrities and former footballers get together for yet another crunch match between England and World XI FC.

This annual event, created by popstar Robbie Williams back in 2006, harnesses the power of football to raise money for UNICEF to ensure that children worldwide have the best possible start in life and can grow up happy, healthy and able to play.

More than £90m has been raised for UNICEF thanks to Soccer Aid over the last 18 years, and this year, the foundation will double every donation made to Soccer Aid, up to £4m.

Here, Sports Mole provides the lowdown on when and where Soccer Aid 2024 will take place, as well as how to watch it, and takes a look at which celebrities and former footballers will be participating.

When is Soccer Aid 2024? Where will it take place? How can you watch it?

Soccer Aid 2024 will take place on Sunday, June 9 at Stamford Bridge, the home of London-based Premier League club Chelsea.

Stamford Bridge will be hosting the event for the very first time, a year on from when is was staged at Manchester United's Old Trafford.

The charity match will be broadcast in the UK from 6.00pm on ITV1, STV and ITVX. There will be around 90 minutes of build-up before the match kicks off at 7.30pm.

Prior to the main event, 'Soccer Aid: The Warm Up' will be shown on ITV1 at 3.00pm.

You can also listen to Soccer Aid 2024 on talkSPORT and their coverage begins from 6.00pm.
