Cambuur vs. Groningen (Sunday, 11.15am)
Following their triumph in last season's Eerste Divisie, Cambuur begin life in the top flight with the visit of Groningen to the Cambuur-Stadion on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the away side come into the new campaign with the wind in their sails having equalled their best-ever finish in a decade last term.
We say: Cambuur 1-1 Groningen
Judging by their previous meetings, there is little to choose between the teams ahead of this one. We expect a tight and cagey affair with a share of the spoils at the end of the 90 minutes.

PEC Zwolle vs. Vitesse (Sunday, 1.30pm)
After securing a return to European football for the first time in three years last time out, Vitesse get their Eredivisie campaign started with a visit to the Mac3Park Stadion on Sunday to face off against PEC Zwolle.
Vitesse enjoyed a productive 2020-21 campaign where they finished in fourth spot, nine places above their hosts who flattered to deceive.
We say: PEC Zwolle 1-2 Vitesse
Following their triumph in midweek, Vitesse head into this weekend's game on a high albeit with a less-rested squad than their opponents. Nonetheless, we are tipping them to claim a narrow victory in what should be an end-to-end affair.

Utrecht vs. Sparta (Sunday, 1.30pm)
Two of last season's top eight go head-to-head at the Stadion Galgenwaard on Sunday as FC Utrecht and Sparta Rotterdam kick off their respective Eredivisie campaigns.
Meeting for the third time this year, the teams will aim to lay down an early marker to begin a new season where both of them will be expected to deliver.
We say: FC Utrecht 2-0 Sparta Rotterdam
Utrecht will aspire to continue their impressive record in this fixture, which has largely been one-sided over the years. While we expect the visitors to put up a good fight, we are also backing the home team to come out on top in a dominant manner.

Willem II vs. Feyenoord (Sunday, 3.45pm)
Off the back of their worst league finish in a decade, Feyenoord begin their 2021-22 campaign with a trip to Tilburg to tackle Willem II on Sunday.
The hosts, who rallied in the final weeks of last season to avoid relegation, seek to right their wrongs from last time out and make life easier for themselves this time around.
We say: Willem II 0-3 Feyenoord
Feyenoord have been imperious this term, sweeping aside all that has been brought before them. We expect that trend to continue in their visit to Willem II as we back them to secure a comfortable victory at the sound of the full-time whistle.
