Roma manager Rudi Garcia has expressed his frustration following his side's 1-1 draw at home to Feyenoord in the Europa League.
The Frenchman said that his team's hard work is not paying off after Colin Kazim-Richards cancelled out Gervinho's opener to give the Dutch side a vital away goal ahead of the second leg of the last-32 tie.
"We sat too deep, did not press efficiently, although we still had chances to score other goals with Gervinho and [Seydou] Doumbia," he told Mediaset Premium. "The goal was offside. Now we have to score in Rotterdam. The team needs to gain confidence and take more risks going forward.
"We won't give up. It's a shame we conceded that goal but, at this moment, we are lacking results. It's pointless making comparisons with last season.
"We are doing everything possible to get back to winning ways at the Stadio Olimpico but, at the moment, hard work isn't paying off. We need to be more explosive, take risks more with our mentality than our legs."
Roma have now failed to win eight of their last nine home matches.
