Feyenoord extended their winning Eredivisie streak to five matches with a 2-0 triumph over PEC Zwolle tonight.
Sven van Beek and Jean-Paul Boetius scored after the break as Fred Rutten's side made relatively easy work of a team who were level on points with them prior to kickoff.
The hosts were dominant from the first whistle as former Premier League duo Colin Kazim-Richards and Karim El Ahmadi had early sighters.
Some smart saves from Zwolle goalkeeper Warner Hahn kept the scores goalless prior to the break, but Feyenoord struck five minutes into the second half as Van Beek converted Terence Kongolo's cross.
With top scorer Mitchell te Vrede still absent with injury, young striker Boetius stepped up to the plate and doubled Feyenoord's advantage 12 minutes later when he ran onto a pass from Kazim-Richards.
Zwolle never threatened a comeback and are now winless in four matches.
