Claudio Ranieri has said that Internazionale's recent run of games was summed up in the club's 1-0 defeat to Marseille in the Champions League last night.
Inter conceded a last-miute goal to the French club to succumb to their fourth consecutive defeat and sixth loss in their last seven games in all competitions. However, Ranieri insists that his side didn't deserve to lose.
"We knew [Marseille] would come out strong, but we had good chances to take the lead," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"This was a snapshot of our situation. We are going through a negative moment. We did not deserve to lose this match. We missed luck.
"The tie is not over. If the stadium is filled with our fans, we can turn the score around."
The Italian outfit host Marseille for the return in leg in three weeks' time.
