Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado has insisted that his side need to score the first goal against a "countering" Inter Milan side.
The Viola face Inter on Sunday evening as they look to secure a European place.
Cuadrado has warned his teammates that they need to be wary of Andrea Stramaccioni's counter-attacking style, along with the individual talent of Antonio Cassano.
"It's essential that we score first, because otherwise it'll play right into Inter's hands," Cuadrado told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Their football is all about sitting back and countering. They get into the box with three passes and tend to score at the first shot.
"Antonio Cassano is so good as he starts out wide on the left and invents assists, but it's a heavy blow for them to have lost Diego Milito."
Fiorentina lie sixth in the Serie A table, five points behind third place.
