Forest Green Rovers have returned to the top of the National League after a 3-0 victory over Aldershot Town.
Darren Carter and Keanu Marsh-Brown caused problems for the Aldershot defence throughout the first half but were unable to beat Phil Smith early on.
Carter did break the deadlock in the 38th minute though, when his long-range effort found the bottom-left corner.
The lead was doubled just before half time as Kurtis Guthrie broke free of the Aldershot defence to place the ball into the bottom-left corner.
Aldershot had chances to equalise in the second half, but Rhys Browne and Damon Lathrope were unable to hit the back of the net.
Aaron O'Connor completed the scoring in the 85th minute when he hit the back of the net after Jon Parkin's headed pass.
The result sees Forest Green move three points clear of Cheltenham Town in the National League table.
