France manager Laurent Blanc believes England have the quality to overcome their mounting injury problems.
England have had to cope with a number of high profile withdrawals for Euro 2012, most recently losing Gary Cahill with a double jaw fracture.
Blanc insisted England will remain competitive and that they were not alone in losing top players through injury this summer.
Blanc told Sky Sports News: "Indeed, England can certainly come through the absences of Lampard and Barry, don't be worried. They have enough good players to make up for those absences.
"Each national team has its own problems, we have injured players, too.
"Whatever the England team will be, we know it will be difficult. And they know it will be difficult, too."
The French have had their own injury issues ahead of this summer's tournament, most notably losing Marseille forward Loic Remy with a thigh problem.
France versus England will act as the curtain-raiser for Group D on June 11.
