Hugo Lloris has warned his France teammates that it would be unwise to become complacent ahead of their meeting with Ecuador on Wednesday night.
Les Bleus have already qualified from Group E, and look likely to secure top spot after winning their opening two games comfortably, but Lloris believes that it is important to not change the approach which has seen them start the tournament so well.
"If you go into the competition and say 'OK, we will have some easy games' then you're finished," the Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper told the club's website. "You can't think like that.
"You know that teams will be at 100% and they're going to try to do everything to beat you. You have to respect your opponents and you have to go into it with ambition."
France defender Mathieu Debuchy has also insisted that the team will not relax against Ecuador.
