Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Championship fixtures, including Fulham vs. Huddersfield.

Fulham vs. Huddersfield (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Fulham play host to Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon looking to strengthen their position at the top of the Championship standings.

While their six-point lead may have been halved by the time that they take to the pitch at Craven Cottage, the West Londoners will move 17 points clear of Huddersfield if they can end the long undefeated streak of their fifth-placed opponents.

We say: Fulham 2-0 Huddersfield Town

Fulham will respect Huddersfield's credentials ahead of this contest, aware that defeat has the potential for a clutch of clubs to close the gap. However, that should bring the best out of the home side, who we are backing to record a win and clean sheet.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Blackburn vs. Millwall (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Third-placed Blackburn Rovers head into Saturday's fixture with Millwall looking to end a four-match winless streak in the Championship.

Although Millwall find themselves down in 14th position in the standings, victory at Ewood Park would move the Lions to within eight points of their hosts with a game in hand.

We say: Blackburn Rovers 2-1 Millwall

This has all the makings of a hard-fought game, one which Millwall will feel they are favourites to win based on current form. Nevertheless, we are backing the home side to edge this one by the odd goal in three, aware that anything other than three points will only offer encourage to the teams below them.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Bristol City vs. Middlesbrough (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Middlesbrough square off against Bristol City on Saturday afternoon looking for the victory which will keep the club in the Championship playoff positions.

At a time when Boro currently occupy sixth spot in the standings, Bristol City are down in 17th place after losing nearly half of their league fixtures this season.

We say: Bristol City 1-2 Middlesbrough

While Bristol City have improved at Ashton Gate as the season has progressed, this match may be more about how Boro perform on their travels. All things considered, they have a poor record away from the Riverside Stadium, but we are backing Wilder's side to edge this contest in the latter stages.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Cardiff vs. Blackpool (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Cardiff City will hope to continue their recent resurgence when they host Blackpool in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

The Bluebirds have pulled away from relegation danger over the last few weeks and sit 19th in the table, six points behind the Tangerines who are 15th.

We say: Cardiff City 2-0 Blackpool

Cardiff are really starting to find some rhythm and confidence under Steve Morison and we think that they will get another three points on the board against a Blackpool side who have struggled away from home in recent months.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Coventry vs. Barnsley (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Championship bottom club Barnsley will hope to build on their first league victory in 14 matches when they travel to Coventry City on Saturday.

Despite finally getting a win on the board, the Tykes remain six points adrift of safety. Meanwhile, the Sky Blues sit 12th in the table.

We say: Coventry City 1-1 Barnsley

Barnsley will have been lifted by victory last weekend, but winning away from home might be another matter entirely. Coventry have been inconsistent of late though and continue to struggle with injuries, so we think that this game will end all square.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Derby vs. Peterborough (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Two sides battling to escape the bottom three of the Championship table will lock horns in a crucial meeting on Saturday, as Derby County welcome Peterborough United to Pride Park.

Despite being hit with a points deduction, the Rams now find themselves just three points behind their visitors and five adrift of safety.

We say: Derby County 2-1 Peterborough United

In what will certainly be a hard-fought game, given the circumstances of a true six-pointer, this could go either way, but we just give the edge to the hosts.

Rooney's men have shown their heart and desire over the course of the campaign, and, with the chance to leapfrog the Posh and take a step closer to a seemingly unlikely survival, their fighting spirit could again come on show.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Luton vs. West Brom (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Luton Town and West Bromwich Albion meet in the Championship on Saturday afternoon with just one point separating the two clubs in the standings.

While both teams are realistically just one or two wins away from moving into the playoff spots, defeat at Kenilworth Road has the potential to leave them in the mid-table positions.

We say: Luton Town 1-1 West Bromwich Albion

While these clubs sit 10th and ninth respectively, the stakes feel high ahead of this contest. Luton are probably the marginal favourites, but we feel that the Baggies will produce an improved showing to claim a point at Kenilworth Road.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Preston vs. Reading (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Preston North End will aim to extend their unbeaten run in the Championship to seven games when they host struggling Reading on Saturday.

The Lilywhites are currently 11th in the table and four points behind the playoffs, while the Royals are 21st and two points above the relegation zone.

We say: Preston North End 2-0 Reading

Chaos off the pitch at Reading has translated to a horrific run of form on it and we expect them to lose at Deepdale. Preston are growing in confidence under Ryan Lowe and have become very tough to beat, so it seems unlikely that they will come undone against one of the division's worst sides.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

QPR vs. Hull City (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Championship playoff contenders Queens Park Rangers will hope to get their form back on track against a Hull City side who have also been struggling of late.

The Rs have lost their last two matches but remain fourth in the table, while the Tigers are winless in four and sit 20th.

We say: Queens Park Rangers 1-0 Hull City

QPR will not want to get stuck in a rut as they battle for promotion, so a win here on home turf would be vital. We think that they will just about get it, with Hull not looking totally convincing under Shota Arveladze so far.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Sheff Utd vs. Swansea (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Sheffield United's recent run of good form has helped lift them to within touching distance of the Championship's playoff positions, currently sitting eighth and just two points behind sixth spot.

The Blades host Swansea City at Bramall Lane on Saturday, when the visitors are aiming to record back-to-back wins for the first time since October.

We say: Sheffield United 1-1 Swansea City

After two goalless draws in their last two matches, Sheffield United will want to get back to scoring ways, and they are likely to do so given Swansea's poor defensive record on their travels.

However, the Swans should take confidence from their win on Sunday and are likely to cause the hosts some problems with the amount of possession they are expected to have, suggesting that they too should be able to break the Blades' defence.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Stoke vs. Birmingham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Stoke City play host to Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon knowing that only three points will do if they want to remain in close proximity to the Championship playoffs.

Now sitting 15 points clear of the relegation zone, Birmingham can travel to the Potteries with the freedom to push for a second win in succession.

We say: Stoke City 2-1 Birmingham City

Birmingham head into this contest under far less pressure than their hosts, and that could show in their performance. Nevertheless, we feel that the home side should have enough quality to edge this contest by the odd goal in three, potentially with a goal during the closing stages.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.
