Fulham have beaten Norwich City to progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The visitors almost took an early lead, but Robert Snodgrass's bending shot came back off the crossbar. Moments before that Nathan Redmond had a close-range effort saved by Maarten Stekelenburg.
After that fast Norwich start, Fulham had their first chance as Steve Sidwell fired straight at Mark Bunn.
However, the hosts went ahead with 16 minutes played. Pajtim Kasami got down the right and delivered a low ball to the front post. It missed Ashkan Dejagah, but Darren Bent was there to fire home.
Immediately after the goal, the Cottagers began to dominate possession and frustrate their opponents. Their defence looked solid, with Norwich unable to find a cutting edge.
With four minutes remaining in the first half, Fulham doubled their advantage. Alexander Kacaniklic was played in down the right, and he pulled the ball back for Dejagah to finish from close range.
The second half started without either side creating a clear-cut chance, but with over 60 minutes played, Sebastien Bassong did manage to get his header on target.
However, it soon got worse for the Canaries. Sascha Riether delivered a cross which Sidwell headed in at the back post.
Fulham continued to threaten after that, with Dejagah fizzing in a dangerous cross from the right that was just over the head of everyone in the box.
Kacaniklic then burst into the box, before firing in a low strike that the goalkeeper did well to hang on to.
