Moussa Dembele has brought Fulham level right on the stroke of half time to cancel out Dean Bowditch's strike to leave their clash with MK Dons at 1-1 at the break.
MK Dons rallied from the early chance to force Joe Lewis into action as Dean Bowditch lined up a powerful strike at goal, but the keeper managed to palm his strike wide.
The home side came close as Lewis made another fine stop to prevent Josh Murphy's curling strike from the edge of the box finding the top corner.
Bowditch came within inches of finding the net when he latched on to Murphy's backheel in the box, but his strike was cleared off the line.
Fulham should have taken the lead as Ross McCormack raided down the flank and put the ball into the path of Moussa Dembele, two yards from goal, but he could only send his strike over the crossbar.
The home side went ahead in the 30th minute when Murphy picked out the run of Bowditch in the middle and the forward took a touch before rifling his effort into the net on the half-volley.
However, the Cottagers equalised just before the whistle when Dembele pounced on a loose ball on the six-yard and this time he was able to fire his strike past David Martin, atoning for his earlier miss.
