Fulham have reached the midway point of their Premier League match against Wigan Athletic with a slender 1-0 lead courtesy of a superb strike from Giorgos Karagounis.
The deadlock was broken at Craven Cottage on 22 minutes when the Greece international unleashed a thumping effort from 25 yards, which found the bottom-left corner via the post.
It has been an open and entertaining game thus far and Wigan will be frustrated to be behind, having spurned a glorious chance to score through Franco Di Santo early on.
Latics midfielder James McArthur has also forced a good save out of Mark Schwarzer in the Cottagers' goal.
