Fulham striker Adam Taggart has revealed that he is closing in on his debut for the club following a groin injury.
The Australia international joined the Cottagers from Newcastle Jets in the summer before suffering the problem in pre-season.
After playing for the Cottagers' Under-21s earlier this week, Taggart is hopeful that his senior bow is around the corner.
"Now it's just about pushing forward and getting the sharpness back to really push for some more game time," he told the club's official website.
"I've been training hard every day but games are obviously very different so it was good personally to get out there for a run and get used to match situations again."
Fulham continue their Championship campaign on Saturday when they face Leeds United at Elland Road.
