Fulham manager Martin Jol has admitted that he is unsure whether his side will survive relegation this season.
The Cottagers are seemingly safe in 10th place with nine points ahead of the drop zone, but Jol is refusing to rule out an exit from the top flight.
"I don't know [if we're still in trouble]," the London Evening Standard quotes Jol as saying. "I don't think so. Ten years ago you needed 44 points and a few years ago it was 42 points.
"Five or six seasons ago you needed 36 points. I don't know. You need a lot of points this year to be safe. I think we are fine but you never know.
"We have a very good goal difference compared to the other teams at the bottom, that is important. Of course, we would like to have more wins."
The Cottagers will travel to Aston Villa on Saturday.
