Andy Johnson continued his clinical run of goalscoring form with a hat-trick as Fulham comfortably defeated Queens Park Rangers at Craven Cottage this afternoon.
The 30-year-old frontman scored twice before the half-time whistle, while he also won a penalty which Danny Murphy duly converted after 20 minutes.
Johnson completed his hat-trick just before the hour mark, slotting the ball beyond QPR goalkeeper Paddy Kenny after a quick free-kick from Murphy.
Fulham's three-goal man played a part in his side's fifth of the afternoon, sending over a cross which Bobby Zamora flicked into the path of Clint Dempsey to score from close range.
Zamora then got his name on the score-sheet in the 74th minute after he cut in from the right hand side, before curling the ball into the bottom corner of the net.
