Watford have moved back into the Championship top six by recording a 5-0 win against 10-man Fulham this evening.
The visitors took the lead in the 15th minute when Almen Abdi fired in a low free kick from the edge of the box that found the bottom corner.
It got worse for the visitors five minutes later, as goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli gave away a penalty and was shown a straight red card for bringing down Matej Vydra inside the box.
Gabor Kiraly came on to take his place between the sticks, but he could do nothing to stop Troy Deeney from converting from the spot to give Watford a two-goal lead.
Fulham found themselves further behind in the 37th minute when Deeney raced onto Gianni Munari's header and poked an effort past the keeper.
The Hornets grabbed a fourth goal within six minutes of the second half, as Abdi curled a strike from outside the box into the top corner, leaving Kiraly rooted to the spot.
The hosts almost pulled a goal back when George Williams saw his effort on goal take a deflection, but Heurelho Gomes was able to make the save.
In the final minute of stoppage time Deeney completed his hat-trick when he raced onto Munari's through-ball and fired past the keeper to put the seal on a comfortable win.
