Fulham are reportedly lining up a £27m deadline-day approach for Marseille midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.
The Cottagers are understood to have identified Anguissa as a possible option to bolster their midfield ahead of the new Premier League season, and are hopeful of pushing through a deal before today's 5pm deadline.
Foot Mercato reports that Fulham are willing to pay €30m (£27m) for the 22-year-old, who would have his medical in France in order to speed up the process.
The newly-promoted London outfit are thought to have agreed a four-year deal with the Cameroon international, who featured in last season's Europa League final.
Fulham have already brought in Jean Michael Seri, Andre Schurrle and Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer, while the likes of Sergio Rico and Joe Bryan are thought to be nearing moves to Craven Cottage.
Slavisa Jokanovic's side will begin their return to the Premier League at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
