Championship side Blackburn Rovers are reportedly confident of capturing the services of Colin Kazim-Richards on a permanent basis.
The Turkish international had spent the first six months of the current season with Rovers on a loan basis from Galatasaray.
However, confusion over his situation was sparked yesterday when his parent club recalled him with the reported intention of selling him to Bursaspor, despite the fact that an agreement was believed to be close with Blackburn.
Rovers remain confident of signing the 26-year-old though and have offered him a contract until the summer of 2017, according to the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
Kazim-Richards has made 15 appearances for Rovers, scoring three goals in the process.
