Genoa manager Gian Piero Gasperini has backed his team to recover from their poor start to the season when they face Lazio on Wednesday evening.
The Rossoblu were beaten 2-0 by Italian champions Juventus at the weekend, as they slipped to a third defeat from their opening four league games.
"We need to play even better, even if the last two defeats did come after good performances," Gasperini told reporters.
"I am confident ahead of tomorrow's game, because I have always had a positive response from this team. What are we missing? More support and finalisation in attack.
"We are working to give a more precise identity to the squad. I can see improvements and I think positive."
Genoa will be taking on a Lazio side who were thrashed 5-0 by Napoli on Sunday evening.
