Thomas Muller has said that Germany can make no excuses following their defeat to France last night.
Joachim Low's side fell two goals behind to Les Blues as Montpellier's Olivier Giroud and Florent Malouda found the back of the net in either half. While Cacau grabbed a late consolation goal for the hosts, Muller insists that the Germans were not good enough.
"You can do much talking ahead of such a game, but we were a little undisciplined," he told Kicker. "In the second half our team looked disjointed.
"We have missed some chances and didn't defend well, but that is no excuse to lose the game in the manner we did."
Meanwhile, France boss Laurent Blanc has said that his side will continue to improve following the win.
