Germany striker Miroslav Klose has revealed that he is delighted to have equalled the World Cup goalscoring record.
The 36-year-old notched his 15th goal in the tournament in just his 20th appearance to bring him level with Brazil's Ronaldo, as he found the net to rescue a point for Joachim Low's side in their 2-2 draw against Ghana.
"It's a pleasure to equal Ronaldo's record, he is a great striker and person. I hope to play more times and score other goals in this World Cup," Klose told Globo.
"Twenty [World Cup] matches and 15 goals is not bad at all. But what's important is that we have a good match against the United States."
Germany face the United States in their next World Cup clash on Thursday.
