Germany coach Joachim Low has admitted that he was pleased with his side's response to going 2-0 down to Sweden in the final Group C World Cup qualifier on Tuesday night.
Low said that his players just needed the encouragement that they were capable of overturning the deficit and was delighted with the final score of 5-3, courtesy of a second-half Andre Schurrle hat-trick..
"We were 2-0 behind, even though we saw plenty of the ball and had many chances," Low told Bundesliga.com.
"It was important to pull one back for 2-1 before half time. We said we can win this if we step things up - and so it was."
Germany won Group C with a game to spare, dropping just two points on the way.
