Andre Schurrle has praised Germany teammate Manuel Neuer following the team's victory over Algeria in the World Cup second round.
Neuer made a string of saves in goal on Monday to help the Germans reach the quarter-finals with a 2-1 win in Porto Alegre.
"We all know that Manuel's the best goalkeeper in the world," Schurrle told FIFA.com. "He showed that again [during the match] in an impressive manner.
"He dealt with every through ball and saved everything that went his way. He's simply a great guy."
Germany's reward for beating Algeria is a quarter-final clash with fellow Europeans France.
