Former Italy goalkeeper Dino Zoff has become the latest name to heap praise on Germany shot-stopper Manuel Neuer.
Along with Brazil's Julio Cesar and Costa Rica's Keylor Navas, Neuer has been among a number of goalkeepers who have impressed so far at the World Cup.
However, Zoff, who won the tournament with Italy back in 1982, believes that the 28-year-old is currently the best in the world.
"The German goalkeeper is currently number one in the world," he told Gazzetta dello Sport. "He has class, coldness, a sense of place and, compared to many of his colleagues, he has one more weapon... he's terrific with his feet."
Germany return to action tonight when they play hosts Brazil in the semi-finals.
