Getafe midfielder Pedro Leon has admitted what while the capital outfit are "very excited" to be in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey, La Liga matters are most important to the club.
El Geta will face Villarreal in the first leg of their last-eight clash on Wednesday, but a stuttering league campaign has left the Madrid-based side 15th in the table.
"We are all very excited about the cup and are into the last eight, where we face tough opponents, but we've got to be realistic about the situation," he told reporters.
"We have a small squad and have only got 17 points in the league, although it doesn't mean we are not looking forward to the Villarreal game, but our aim is to stay in La Primera."
Leon has recently returned to the first-team picture at Getafe after registration issues saw him sit out the first few months of the season.
