Getafe president Angel Torres has revealed that he has no fresh news in the saga surrounding Pedro Leon.
Leon, who is widely regarded as Getafe's best player, is currently ineligible to represent El Geta after the club chose not to register the Spaniard at the start of the season.
Had Leon been registered, Getafe would have breached the salary cap imposed by the LFP.
"We're not asking anything from anyone. We're aware of the situation," he told AS.
"It's hard to explain it in two minutes. He might get a licence to play. Someday we'll explain but it's a long story.
"I'm indifferent. We didn't count on him for this season and he knows that. He says he had offers to leave and we say he didn't, or we didn't receive any. If he's licensed, I'll be happy as he's one more player. If not then I won't waste a second on that topic."
Leon is currently attempting to rectify the situation.
