Real Betis will be looking to bounce back from Saturday's late defeat against Real Madrid when they continue their La Liga campaign away to Getafe on Tuesday night.
Manuel Pellegrini's side were on the wrong end of a 3-2 scoreline against the champions on Saturday, while Getafe were held to a goalless draw by Alaves in their second match of the season.
Match preview
Getafe have made an encouraging start to their 2020-21 La Liga campaign, opening with a 1-0 victory over Osasuna on September 19 before drawing 0-0 at Alaves on Saturday afternoon.
A return of four points from two matches at this stage is far from disappointing, and the capital outfit will be eyeing another three points when they welcome Betis for what should be an entertaining affair.
Jose Bordalas's side finished eighth in La Liga last season, missing out on a spot in the Europa League by two points, which was disappointing considering that they claimed fifth in 2018-19.
Getafe actually reached the last-16 stage of last season's Europa League but will have the chance to fully concentrate on La Liga this term due to their lack of European involvement in 2020-21.
Betis made an excellent start to their domestic season, beating Alaves on the opening weekend before recording a 2-0 home victory over Real Valladolid on September 20 to move onto six points.
The Seville outfit would have been looking to take points off Real Madrid on Saturday, and Pellegrini's side actually led the champions 2-1 at the interval courtesy of goals from Aissa Mandi and William Carvalho.
An own goal from Emerson, who was later sent off, levelled the scores early in the second half, though, before Sergio Ramos won it for Madrid from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute.
The result might have been disappointing, but the club's supporters would have been encouraged by their team's performance, and there is no question that they will be looking for a huge improvement on last season's 15th-place finish in Spain's top flight.
Betis have actually not won any of their last four La Liga games with Getafe, though, and have been victorious in just one of the last six. Last term, the corresponding match in Madrid ended in a 1-0 home success.

Team News
Filip Manojlovic remains on the sidelines for Getafe with a back injury, but the capital side are otherwise in good shape, having not suffered any injuries against Alaves.
Angel and Enes Unal are both options for change in the final third of the field, although it seems likely that Jaime Mata will again be joined by Cucho Hernandez at the tip of the attack.
Nemanja Maksimovic and Mauro Arambarri, meanwhile, should continue in the middle of the park.
Betis will again be without the services of Dani Martin, Victor Camarasa and Francis Guerrero through injury, while Andres Guardado is again expected to miss out for the Seville giants.
There will also have to be a change at right-back as Emerson is suspended due to the red that he picked up in the 67th minute of Saturday's clash with Zinedine Zidane's side, with Martin Montoya likely to come in.
Betis were also without their number one goalkeeper Claudio Bravo against Madrid, but the summer arrival from Manchester City should return between the sticks for this one, while Borja Iglesias is likely to replace Antonio Sanabria at centre-forward.
Getafe possible starting lineup:
Soria; Suarez, Dakonam, Etxeita, Olivera; Nyom, Maksimovic, Arambarri, Cucurella; Hernandez, Mata
Real Betis possible starting lineup:
Bravo; Montoya, Mandi, Bartra, Moreno; Carvalho, Rodriguez; Canales, Fekir, Joaquin; Iglesias
We say: Getafe 1-1 Real Betis
There is not an awful lot between these two sides when it comes to quality, and they played out a 1-1 draw in last season's clash in Seville. Neither manager would be too disappointed with a share of the spoils here, and we are predicting a low-scoring draw at Estadio Coliseum Alfonso Perez.
