A pair of first-half goals proved enough to secure maximum points for Granada as they paid a visit to Getafe in La Liga, coming away with a 2-1 victory.
The visitors began the match well and Ruben Rochina came close to finding an opener when he fired at goal from the edge of the box, but Vicente Guaita was able to get down to make the save.
Granada took the lead when they were awarded a penalty as Emiliano Velazquez brought down Youssef El-Arabi in the area. El-Arabi took the spot kick himself and fired his effort into the bottom corner.
Jose Ramon Sandoval's side extended their lead in the 29th minute as Success Isaac slotted the ball past Guatia following a flowing counter-attack by the visitors.
Javi Marquez almost added a third for the away side when he curled a left-footed strike at goal, only to see his strike sail narrowly wide of the post.
In the second half, Getafe came close to getting back into the game when they won a free kick on the edge of the box. Emiliano Buendia took the set piece, but sent his effort just over the bar.
The hosts pulled one back with 10 minutes remaining when Angel Lafita collected Velazquez's nod-on and rifled a shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box, but a late equaliser proved beyond them.
