Spanish youngster Moi Gomez has revealed that he is looking forward to spending the new campaign on loan at Getafe.
The 21-year-old has joined the capital outfit on a season-long loan from Villarreal, and the attacker has talked up the part played by Getafe boss Fran Escriba in the move.
"I know Fran is a good coach. I talked to him a lot and I think his style suits the way I play, and I think I can do well," Gomez is quoted as saying by AS.
"I haven't talked about what position I'll play, but I can play in the middle or wide without a problem.
"There's a good group of players here who can have a very good season. We have to go step-by-step and I think we can have a good year."
Gomez has racked up almost 80 first-team league appearances for Villarreal since making his debut in 2011.
Getafe will travel to England for a pre-season friendly against Port Vale this weekend, while they will also face MK Dons and Fleetwood Town before the end of the month.
