Sulley Muntari is likely to have played his last game for Ghana, with reports suggesting that national team officials have imposed an indefinite ban on the player.
The AC Milan midfielder was sent home from the World Cup before their final group game in Brazil after an altercation with executive committee member Moses Armah and a statement from the Ghanian FA appeared to cast doubt on his international future.
The statement read: "The Ghana Football Association has suspended Sulley Ali Muntari indefinitely from the Black Stars with immediate effect.
"The decision was taken in the wake of his unprovoked physical attack on an executive committee member of the GFA and a management member of the Black Stars, Moses Armah, on Tuesday during a meeting."
According to The Mirror Armah changed hotels as a result of the scuffle with Muntari at the team accommodation.
Ghana's World Cup has been blighted by talk of in-fighting over unpaid appearance fees.
